From Masking to Mastery—My Neurodivergent Origin Story

 

I’ve spent my life building bridges—between ideas, people, industries, and possibilities. From entertainment and finance to non-profits and tech, my path has been anything but linear. For years, I saw this as a failure, the byproduct of struggling with an undiagnosed disability.

In traditional business settings, my neurodivergent brain never quite fit. I wrestled with structures that felt arbitrary, expectations that valued rigidity over creativity, and systems that left no space for intuition or unconventional thinking. I spent decades masking those differences with perfectionism and sheer determination—until the weight of it all led to burnout.​

Receiving an ADHD diagnosis in adulthood didn’t just explain the struggle; it reframed it. It gave me permission to stop seeing my brain as broken and start leveraging its strengths—rapid pattern recognition, insatiable curiosity, and nonlinear problem-solving. Instead of forcing myself into outdated models, I began designing work around the way my mind naturally operates.

That shift led me to create Gnosis Strategies: a firm built to help bold, unconventional thinkers design businesses that work for them, not against them. We focus on strategic architecture—crafting smarter systems, uncovering hidden opportunities, and helping founders scale on their own terms.

I believe success should never be limited to the resourced, the rule followers, or the traditionally credentialed. It belongs to the underdogs. The outsiders. The innovators and the risk takers.

Gnosis is a Greek word meaning deep, experiential knowledge that transcends intellectual learning, often associated with intuition, insight, and higher understanding. Rooted in ancient philosophy and mysticism, it represents the ability to perceive hidden truths, connect patterns others miss, and unlock profound wisdom beyond conventional thought.

Most entrepreneurs are so immersed in daily operations that building the systems required for growth feels perpetually out of reach. Gnosis Strategies exists to solve that problem. We help founders and small businesses break free from reactive mode, and architect the infrastructure needed to scale with clarity and control.

We are not a traditional consulting firm.
